Ean and I went with my family to Disney World back in October and it was a lot of fun. It was HOT 🥵 but still fun nonetheless.

You can check out our awesome adventure from day 1 here:

Here’s a little recap of everything you’ll find in this video!

First Night
On the first night we drove to Gainesville, FL to stay overnight before we completed our journey to Orlando the next morning. We thought that might be easier since my niece Addie is little, it would be cheaper and allow us to have more full park days, Ean and I were unable to leave town until the afternoon anyway, and it took away the stress of having to drive the full 10+ hours in one single day.

Addie was excited to see us AND Baby Grogu! She loves him 🥰

It ended up being a great idea because we were able to get some good rest before continuing our journey the next morning.

Breakfast at the hotel
After Ean’s struggle with his suitcase and his panic over not being able to find his MagicBands, we had a delicious free breakfast at the hotel. I always love when breakfast is included in the cost of the room 😆 There isn’t always much I can eat because I don’t eat meat at all, and I avoid dairy and eggs when at all possible, so sometimes I have to compromise and eat what I can. The muffin I had definitely contained eggs, but it’s usually such a small amount that it doesn’t upset my stomach!

Drive to Yacht Club
The drive to Disney’s Yacht Club resort was a little rainy, but it was alright. I got a nice new rain jacket for this trip and I was excited to get to use it lol!

Addie was almost more excited about Baby Grogu than the trip itself 😂

Ean and I were super thrilled with our room at the Yacht Club and ~almost~ didn’t even want to leave it! It was in a great location with a decent view of a courtyard, and was in a quiet area (my family didn’t get so lucky with the noise level that was surrounding their rooms 🙈)

Magic Kingdom
We drove to the Magic Kingdom and it wasn’t too crowded. The parking lot wasn’t insanely full, and we got to ride the monorail to the park, which Addie was a little nervous about but ended up enjoying anyway.

The eyes 😂

You can catch her cooling off with my fan while in the monorail in the vlog 😄 Like I said, it was a HOT day!

Once we got to the Magic Kingdom, we were greeted with very low crowds and two character cavalcades. Addie REALLY enjoyed those!! I think they made for a great start to the day!

Throughout the vlog, you will see just a small snippet of things we did.

My favorite moment of the day was when Addie took a nap on my shoulder while in line for It’s A Small World 🥰

Disney Springs for Dinner
That night we went to D-Luxe Burger for dinner, which was a place Ean and I had fallen in love with during our last trip to Disney in July 2020. The plant-based burger there is so good!! Addie was so cute dancing to the music when we first arrived. We had a very lovely time!

Little cutie-patootie dancing to the beat of the atmosphere

I hope you check out the vlog and enjoy it! We certainly had a great first day of our trip!
