Here is your weekly recap of all the latest news, happenings, and events at the Disney parks and resorts! I like to keep it brief and provide links to places you can find more information if you’re interested, but if you have any questions, let me know ☺

July 12
CHRISTMAS AT WDW!
Walt Disney World has announced their holiday happenings for this year! They will be holding a holiday after hours event called Disney Very Merriest After Hours at Magic Kingdom on select nights from November 8- December 21. There will be a special fireworks display called Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, holiday music, décor, treats, and more! Sunset Seasons Greetings will return to Hollywood Studios as well as the holiday festive meal at Hollywood & Vine. Animal Kingdom will have a holiday projection on the Tree of Life as well as festive flotilla and décor. The Festival of the Holidays will be returning to Epcot from November 26- December 30. The Christmas Tree Stroll will return to Disney Springs with some elaborately decorated Disney-themed trees and magic snowfall in Town Center. The resorts will all be decked out in holiday trees and décor.

CASTLE DREAM LIGHTS NOT RETURNING!
Those beautiful icy lights that normally decorate Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom will not be returning this year.

REFERBISHMENTS!
“it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom will close for refurbishment on July 27, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, also in Magic Kingdom, will close for refurbishment on July 20.

FINDING NEMO SUBMARINE RETURNING!
The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage will be returning to Disneyland this winter.

July 12
HEALTH PASS AT DISNEYLAND PARIS!
The president of France has announced a Health Pass with proof of COVID-19 vaccination or recent negative test will be mandatory to access public places which includes Disneyland Paris. This will begin on July 21.

PARK PASSES ADDED!
More park passes are being added to WDW parks throughout the summer (which means, increased capacity 😖)

FIREWORK CRUISES!
WDW’s firework cruises have returned!

OOGIE BOOGIE BASH TICKETS!
Tickets to Disney’s California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash went on sale and people were waiting in the online que for hoursssss.

WINE AND DINE HALF REGISTRATION!
Registration for the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon went on sale to the general public and the 10K is already sold out.

July 14
EPCOT MONORAIL LINE REOPENING!
Woo hooo! The Epcot Monorail line reopens July 18! 🙌

July 15
FIRST DAY FOR FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL!
Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival has begun! It will run until

July 15
MORE DISNEYLAND RESTAURANT REOPENINGS!
The following restaurants will reopen at Disneyland, California Adventure, and Disneyland resorts:

Disneyland:
Plaza Inn for a Minnie & Friends Breakfast – August 12
The Golden Horseshoe – July 29 (food and beverage only)

California Adventure:
Carthay Circle Restaurant – July 22

California Adventure Hotel & Spa:
Storytellers Cafe for a Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast – July 22

CITRICOS REOPENS!
Citricos at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has reopened after its refurbishment. It now has a very nice Mary Poppins theme.

July 16
THE WAVE BREAKFAST!
The Wave at the Contemporary Resort is currently closed, but you can eat from their breakfast menu at California Grill (also at the Contemporary).

JUNGLE CRUISE AT DISNEYLAND!
The Jungle Cruise at Disneyland California has officially reopened.

July 17
TRAILS END REOPENED!
Trails End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort campsites has finally reopened with a modified family-style experience rather than their normal buffet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DISNEYLAND!!
Disneyland in California turns 66 years old today! 🎉

VERY MERRYTIME CRUISES
Disney Cruise Line is offering Very Merrytime Cruises from early November through December.
